I waited three years for this plant to bllom. I
guess patience is a virute. 

What I really want to see about this
would get me in trouble, so I will keep
my mouth shut. 

This one reminds me of some people I encounter.
Ouch! If looks could kill. 

My ongoing theme of beautiful places being all
fenced in. Yet here, the beauty manages to escape. 

 

There necks were so close, I could reach out and
touch. Very graceful! 

 

 

Recent travel to Florida, the Gulf Coast. The
colors were amazing, yet I seem to like my photos
better in black and white. I guess I never like
what is easy. 

 

 

 

 

Took a hike today. Felt like I was
on Orange County survivor. At least
there were not any mean rangers
giving me dirty looks. Had to watch
out for the Poison Oak. 

This picture almost did not happen. We drove
an hour and a half to Vasquez Rocks. With nine
people and two dogs in the car, it was quite cozy.
We arrived at 6:00 only to have the ranger locking
the gates. Found a back way in, only to have the
ranger telling us to leave. In the end, we had to
park on the road and walk into the area. I don't
think the ranger liked me. The kids had a blast. 

We had a beautiful sky this morning, but instead
of running around shooting photos, I had to work.
