I know that this is a pretty ordinary shot. I only
took it because I liked the daisies in the foreground
as well as the light and shadows. Posted by Picasa

I was lucky enough to spend the weekend in
Laguna. I realized that some of the prettiest
beaches are hidden within the fancy neighborhoods
that I usually drive right past in my car. It was
just so pretty that I find my mind drifting back
to the rocky ocean scenes as I face the humdrum
of every day life and work. Posted by Picasa

Previously, I used this effect with most of my
photos. Lately, I have moved away from this and
focused more on layering and collage. In order
to get a little variation, I applied it to this set of
pictures from Silverado Canyon. Posted by Picasa

Another combo picture. I started with the
shadows on my front porch and added the
flower shots from Silverado Canyon. The effect
was interesting. Posted by Picasa

This morning, I noticed the
shadows on our fence on the side
yard. I ran out and took a few
shots. Later in Silverado Canyon,
I found some very vibrant flowers.
I combined the two images to
create the flowers above. Posted by Picasa

After a bowling party in Tustin, we drove up
to Silverado Canyon. I could not pass up the
beautiful clouds. The sky was a photographer's
dream. On the drive down the canyon, we could
see downtown L.A., the ocean and Catalina.
Here's to beautiful weather! Posted by Picasa

We had to break some laws to get this shot. A
little bit of tresspassing. It bothers me that so
many of the nicest places in nature are fenced off.
Took a little risk that the dog in the beware of dog
sign was out of town for the weekend. Got lucky! Posted by Picasa

There are several different layers to this
picture. It is hard to know what is at the bottom. Posted by Picasa

Made a trip to the desert the other day. I was
sorry for the lack of rain this year. Everything
was very dry. Not much color to be found. I
did not shoot too much and it is taking me
awhile to warm up to the shots. This photo didn't
entail much in terms of effects, just a little saturation
for the color. I also did it in black and white,
but I preferred the color version. Posted by Picasa

These two photos were side by side on my
screen and I liked the idea of combining them.
It took a little work to get the right effect. Posted by Picasa

My wacky flowers. I can't take full credit for
this one. I had a little help. Posted by Picasa

Tonight Long Beach

I was meaning to turn the water
blue and everything went black
and white. Fine by me, I suppose. Posted by Picasa

Again, I don't know if I like this shot. I keep
thinking of Darwins evolution. Are we de-evolving? Posted by Picasa

I hope this person does not see his picture. He
probably would not appreciate his ass being on
my website. Posted by Picasa

The fog made for a dramatic scene. I can't decide
if this I like this or it is just boring. Posted by Picasa

I was trying to capture the light reflected on
the water. It is illuminating yet difficult to
bring out in a print. Posted by Picasa

I stopped to shoo this house on my way to get
breakfast. Just a minor divergence for a very cool
house. Posted by Picasa

I liked the backround in this picture. It
reminded me of a Monet painting. Posted by Picasa

Another foggy beach day photo. As I post this,
I am not certain if I like it. Maybe it will grow
on me. Posted by Picasa

I definitely was not the only one who enjoyed
the beach. Posted by Picasa

This one was easy, but I kind of liked how it
looks. Posted by Picasa

Some more pictures from my foggy beach day.
I have been playing with several different effects
tonight. Posted by Picasa
